The Significance of the Insignificant

The Significance of the Insignificant
A Chance.PNG

Such sour and harsh notes
I have never before tasted
or heard, echoing off the lips of the streets until visions of myself
became questionable and blurred.

A pointed finger was directed to a sign
That read, accused and sentenced
To a life without liberty,
For acts right or wrong,
Of exposing emotions and ideas
All contained in the inner me.

The accuser is only a simple man
Entitled to a simple opinion
Often designed to hurt,
But words alone do not reveal
truth, and like man,
Fades to no importance, back to
dust and dirt.
