Decisions about indecision

Places

are where people are from,

or perhaps going,

but signs often unclear

keep those that know

from knowing.

Chance

orchestrator of decisions

often precedes a false start —

even the student of stars

admits that uncertainty may alter

the best-designed chart.

A demand

to be exactly right with choices

affecting future years

complicates free will

and compromises tomorrow

with present-day fears.

A point

well to remember is that

I am the master of my indecision

and lack of perfection —

to be any less

would be a slave to unclear signs,

and this in itself

ensures a positive direction.
